ˇ@ˇ@ The Ministry of Foreign Trade and
Economic Cooperation (MOFTEC) announced on Feb.6, 2002 in its Notice that China
would investigate into the dumping import of art printing paper originally
produced in the United States, Japan, The Republic of Korea and Finland.
ˇ@ˇ@ MOFTEC
announced the preliminary adjudication in its Notice No.45, 2002 on Nov.26, 2002
that China would impose temporary anti-dumping measures against the
product-investigated that are originally produced in the United States, Japan,
The Republic of Korea and Finland.
ˇ@ˇ@ The product-investigated
was listed as 48101100 and 48101200 in the Customˇ¦s Import Tariff Number of the
of the Peopleˇ¦s Republic of China when the case was put on file, but these
numbers were canceled later on since new Import Tariff Number was put into
effect as from 2002. Now the product-investigated is listed as 48101300,
48101400 and 48101900 in the Import Tariff Number.
ˇ@ˇ@ Since many companies are
involved in this case and the situation is complicated, MOFTEC decided under
Article 26 of the "Antidumping Rules of the Peoples Republic of China" that the
investigation on this case will be prolonged for another 6 months up to Aug.6,
2003. Enditem (english.mofcom.gov.cn)
