¡@¡@In respond to an appeal from
domestic industry, Ministry of Commerce will start an anti-dumping investigation
on Dispersion Unshifted Single-Mode Optical Fiber (G652A, G652B and G652C)
imported from USA, Japan and the Republic of Korea as of July 1, 2003.
¡@¡@The investigated product is listed under No. 90011000 in 2002 import
tariffs of General Administration of Customs of the People¡¦s Republic of China.
The term of investigation on dumping is from April 1, 2002 to March 31, 2003.
The term of investigation on damage to domestic industries is from January 1,
2000 to March 31, 2003.
¡@¡@Interested parties can apply to Fair Trading
Office of Ministry of Commerce for responding to charges in 20 days from the
date when the Notice is issued. At the same time, related importers or producers
of the investigated countries should provide the quantity and amount of the
product exported to China during dumping investigation term, and the production
capacity, output, stock, plan of construction and extension, the quantity and
amount of the product exported to China during the term of investigation on
damage to domestic industries.
¡@¡@If interested parties didn¡¦t register
responding to charges within the fixed time, Ministry of Commerce would have the
right to refuse their materials and make adjudication according to available
materials.
¡@¡@If interested parties have objections to the range of
product, qualification of the applicants, investigated countries and other
related issues, they can submit their written opinions to Ministry of Commerce
in 20 days as of the date when the notice is issued
¡@¡@Interested parties
can look up the unclassified version of the application handed in by the
applicants in Open Information Look-up Office of Ministry of Commerce during
above period.
¡@¡@Investigation apparatus can investigate by questionnaire,
sampling, hearing and examination on the spot.
¡@¡@The investigation will
begin on July 1, 2003 and last one year. It could be extended to January 1, 2005
in case of special situation.
