Economic Cooperation (MOFTEC) issued a notice on August 1, 2002, starting an
anti-dumping investigation into imported phenol originating in Japan, Republic
of Korea, USA and as well as the Taiwan region. The investigated product is
listed under No. 29071110 in 2002 import tariffs of General Administration of
Customs of the People's Republic of China..
ˇ@ˇ@Since this case is special,
the Ministry of Commerce decided under Article 26 of Anti-dumping Regulations of
the Peopleˇ¦s Republic of China that the investigation on this case will be
prolonged for another 6 months up to February 1, 2004. Enditem
