¡@¡@SINGAPORE, Sept. 14 (Xinhuanet) - A contact of the 27-year-old Singaporean
SARS patient has tested negative for the disease in China, Singapore's Health
Ministry said here on Sunday.
¡@¡@The female contact, who is on holiday in China, was working at an
Environmental Health Institute laboratory when the patient was there, according
to the Health Ministry.
¡@¡@The ministry said that it informed the Chinese health authorityafter
contact tracing began and asked the Chinese counterpart to arrange for tests on
her.
¡@¡@When giving an update on the SARS patient on Sunday, the ministry also said
that he is still warded at the new CommunicableDisease Centre and has not had a
fever for seven days.
¡@¡@The ministry said earlier that the patient was doing well and might be
