KABUL, Sept. 15 (Xinhuanet) -- Afghan president Hamid Karzai will visit the United States of America, Canada and the United Kingdom,president's spokesman Jawed Lodin announced here on Monday.

　　The spokesman said Karzai would leave for the United States this week and during his stay there he would attend the 58th United Nations general assembly and deliver a speech there.

　　On the sideline of the general assembly, he added, Karzai wouldmeet US president Bush, UN Secretary General Kofi Anan, German Chancellor Grahar Schtruder, Pakistani president General Parviz Musharaf on war against terrorism.

　　The Afghan president will also attend a conference of "Afghanistan's Friends" and talk about Afghanistan's reconstruction.

　　He then would proceed to Canada and UK before be backing home on October 1. Enditem
