The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic
Cooperation (MOFTEC) announced its investigation on imported MDI originating in
Japan and the Republic of Korea in its Notice on September 20, 2002. The
investigated product is listed under No. 29291030, 38249090 in 2002 import
tariffs of General Administration of Customs of the Peopleˇ¦s Republic of China.
Since the situation in this case is complicated, Ministry of Commerce
decided under Article 26 of Anti-dumping Regulations of the Peopleˇ¦s Republic of
China that the investigation on this case will be prolonged for another 6 months
