Bush says Libya agrees to dismantle WMD

    WASHINGTON, Dec. 19 (Xinhuanet) -- US President George W. Bush announced Friday that Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi had publicly confirmed his commitment to eliminate nuclear and chemical weaponsprograms in his country.

    Bush said Libya had agree to allow in international inspectors to account for all major weapons in the country.

    Bush's announcement followed similar statement made by British Prime Minister Tony Blair in London. Enditem
