寧明縣位于桂西南邊陲，距廣西首府南寧市130公裏（高速公路），距崇左市40公裏，距越南首府河內180公裏。湘桂鐵路、國道322線、沿邊三級公路和正在建設的南友高速公路貫穿全境，明江河是左江流域重要支流，水路可抵南寧，明江機場在縣城附近，交通運輸便利。國家二類口岸愛店和北山、板爛、旺英三個邊貿點，基礎設施逐步完善，邊境貿易日趨活躍。
隨著中國－－東盟自由貿易區的構建，寧明的區位優勢更加明顯，發展外向型的出口加工業、現代倉儲業，建立進出口貿易基地，參與東盟自由貿易區貿易合作和競爭前景十分廣闊。
The position preponderance
Ningming is located in the south-west of Guangxi, 130km to Nanning, the capital of Guangxi ( a high-way), 40 km to Chongzuo city , 180km to the capital of Vietnam. There are Hunan-Guangxi railway, national road No. 322, the third level roads along the border and a high –way under construction through Ningming.Mingjiang river is an important branch of Zuojiang river which directs to Nanning. Mingjiang air-port is near the county Beishan, Banlan and Wangying, the basic facilities are coming perfect and a very active border trade business there.
With the completion of China and Eastern Asia Union Free Trade Zone, Ningming’s position preponderance is coming out and has a bright future for export, processing industries, modern storage, import and export trade base and cooperation and competition with Eastern Asia Union Free Trade Zone.
